Use Exchange Management Shell to connect a deleted mailbox to a user account. Now, you need to specify the type of mailbox (whether it is a shared, linked or equipment mailbox). Therefore, the general syntax is:-

Connect-Mailbox -Identity “mailbox name” -Database <database name=””> -User “AD user account name” -Alias <email=””></email></database>

Go to the mailbox store which has disconnected mailboxes. Under the mailbox store, click on Mailboxes. And, click Clean up Agent from the right-click menu. Then, select the disconnected mailboxes for recovery and click on the Reconnect. Finally, select the related user account and hit on the OK.
